Holiday was working at on some files left on her desk. Paperwork was part of a doctor's job after all. It was a long grueling task that no one really enjoyed, but someone had to get it done. She glanced over at the clock. 10. She still had plenty of time before lunch. The good doctor didn't like to procrastinate, but for once, she did. Glancing over at a desktop calendar, she decided to flip through it. She didn't get very far though, since Thursday had something written on it. "Jaymie's birthday!!!" Her mouth gaped open for a second. She stood up and hurried out of the lab to find Rex and Six. They needed to plan a party for her. Jaymie was a child growing up in a non-traditional way. Holiday took it upon herself to make it as normal as possible. Even if that meant giving up paperwork to make a party.

Six made it to the control room where an operator was waiting for instruction. "Put it on the lowest setting." And with a nod, the man did what he was told. Machines whirled and began to move.

Rex braced himself and as the machines came on his own machines powered up. "Take this" he called to one as he smashed his smack hand into it.

Six nodded. Rex got use to it pretty fast. "When you're ready. Turn it up."

The robots surrounded him and he took two down but another one grabbed him. He struggled and kicked and got free. He paused to take a deep breath then starred fighting again, he noticed they were coming faster now. And it was getting harder. Crap.

Speed and reflexes. That's what today's training was about. He was waiting for the perfect time to kick it up a notch.

And it earned him a higher setting. "Turn it up." Yay!

Holiday was walking down the hall. She was close to the training room, which she suspected Rex and Six to be.

His eyes widened as more appeared and they moved faster. He got knocked to his feet with a oomphfff. He laid there for a moment trying to find his lost wind. Crap. But then he's good after a few breaths. He jumps to his feet and uses the BFS to cut a head off a near by mech.

I'm guessing Rex isn't into tentacles?

And that's why Holiday walked into the control room to find Six.

Such a shame.

Six turned to look at the good doctor. And saw that she was mad. "What's wrong?"

"When Rex is done with training, tell him he needs to take the party hats off the EVOs."

"Party hats on EVOs?" Alright. "He's almost done. I'll tell him."

And he's on the floor again. Ow.

Six glanced out the window to see him on the floor. "Looks like this setting is too much for him."

Pfft what are you talking about this isn't to much. Shit. They've got him surrounded.

Holiday walked over and glanced out the window as well. "Don't go too hard on him."

"He needs to work on speed and reflexes." Simply put.

He's got the speed down. But he does need to work on his reflexes. He slipped by them bots and sliced to few closest to him. And then ran a lap around the room trying to avoid the bots. Look he's doing good..ish

"Don't tire him out too much." Can't take the party hats off if he can't move.

"Just a little bit longer." Hopefully, Rex would improve after this. It'd help with the party hats.

He's getting quite the work out, running around the room and every so often slicing a machine. Not the best tactic but it works for him.

Six sighed. "Alright. We're done." He turned to Holiday. "You can come down and tell him yourself."

"Sounds good to me." The adults headed out to meet up with Rex.

Rex sat to rest. Wiping some sweat off his brow. He at least got a good workout from the training.
