Jaymie's Birthday

Holiday was working at on some files left on her desk. Paperwork was part of a doctor's job after all. It was a long grueling task that no one really enjoyed, but someone had to get it done. She glanced over at the clock. 10. She still had plenty of time before lunch. The good doctor didn't like to procrastinate, but for once, she did. Glancing over at a desktop calendar, she decided to flip through it. She didn't get very far though, since Thursday had something written on it. "Jaymie's birthday!!!" Her mouth gaped open for a second. She stood up and hurried out of the lab to find Rex and Six. They needed to plan a party for her. Jaymie was a child growing up in a non-traditional way. Holiday took it upon herself to make it as normal as possible. Even if that meant giving up paperwork to make a party.

Six sighed. "Alright. We're done." He turned to Holiday. "You can come down and tell him yourself."

"Sounds good to me." The adults headed out to meet up with Rex.

[naniteking]

Rex sat to rest. Wiping some sweat off his brow. He at least got a good workout from the training.

"You're not done yet." His hand was in his pocket, and you could almost see the smirk on his face. Almost.

" wait , what? What else do I have to do?"

[hollyoncall]

"You have to take the party hats off the EVOs." Holiday strolled into the room, stopped next to Six, and put her hand on her hip. She meant business.

[naniteking]

Huh. Oh yeah. He forgot he put those on them. Oops. " yeah I'll get right in that.." He pulls himself up and heads to the petting zoo. It sucked getting those on he got a bruise form it! How on earth will he get them off?

It was about 10 at this point. Six still needed to get the children and start cooking. The party was in two hours. He turned to the good doctor. "Can you watch Rex? He'll probably get hurt without supervision. I have to get ready to pick up the party guests." And by get ready, he meant make sure Jaymie's well behaved and not covered in maple syrup.

[hollyoncall]

"Of course. After he's done, we can start setting things up." Might as well. Less they'd have to do when the guests arrived. She headed out to follow Rex to the petting zoo.

[naniteking]

Alright. Just gotta remember how many EVOS he put hats on and then go find them. No biggie. There was seven of them. Yes. There was that many. He went near the closest one to him and yanked that party hat off " Sorry Blinky"

Holiday entered the petting zoo to find Rex taking off a party hat. Quick work. This was good.

[naniteking]

Oh look another just on a tree EVO. And Mel has one too. Great. So basically the ones he's named are the ones partying. Four more to go. If only he remembered which EVOS they were on oops. " uh Doc? I kinda forgot the last four EVOS I put hats on.."

[hollyoncall]

Looks like it'd take long than she thought. "We're just going to have to look then."

[naniteking]

He'll start searching after this. SIGH. There now he's looking for party EVOS. Walk walk walk. " oh Grunter! Gunter has a hat" and yoink. De-hatted. Three to go.

[hollyoncall]

Holiday walked in the opposite direction. The party hat was easy to spot. "Rex! There's one over here."

[naniteking]

" got it!" He ran over and yoink another one ups hatless. " only two more doc!" He looked around and " over there" he ran off once he spotted another hat. " thanks for keeping it warm Naruto!" Now they just had to find the last one.

[hollyoncall]

Which the good doctor was attempting the do. She walked around the petting zoo, looking for the pony party hat.

[naniteking]

Which might be hard. Like the petting zoo was pretty big and there were a lot of EVOS there. And they roam. And Rex made sure to spread out when he put the hats on. He wished he could think of the last EVO he put it on so they just had to find it instead of looking for the hat. Oh! That's right. Spike has a hat! " I'm gonna go look for Spike! He's the last EVO with a party hat on, I remember now!" He ran off to look for Spike in the usually tree he tucked himself into.

"Spike?" She assumed that he was talking about an EVO. She just didn't know he named them. Plus, she had no clue which EVO was Spike. Rex was on his own. Holiday headed towards the party supplies.

[naniteking]

He found Spike and took back the party hat. "Sorry Spike, please don't bite me" and there goes Rex jumping out of a tall tree with a smile on his face. That's it he got all the hats back and off of the evos!

[hollyoncall]

Holiday picked up a few bags and began walking over in Rex's general direction.

[naniteking]

"I got all the hats off the EVOS Doc." He called to her with a smile. " now what? Time to set up?"

Who's ready to party?

[hollyoncall]

"Yes. The party will be here before we know it. We have to make sure we're ready in time unless we want Jaymie to be disappointed." Holiday glanced down at her watch. 10:30. Only an hour and a half to go. She hoped Six was doing his part. "Let's go. You can tell me about the EVOs you named," she suggested.

I read that and then pandora secided to play "Let's get this terrible party started"so rude pandora

[naniteking]

"I just named them based on what they do or look like. Like blinky. He's got a bunch of eyes."

Well if Six is hosting this...

[hollyoncall]

"Interesting. Do you have names for all of them?" The good doctor started walking down the hallway, pony party supplies in hand.
