Jaymie's Birthday

Holiday was working at on some files left on her desk. Paperwork was part of a doctor's job after all. It was a long grueling task that no one really enjoyed, but someone had to get it done. She glanced over at the clock. 10. She still had plenty of time before lunch. The good doctor didn't like to procrastinate, but for once, she did. Glancing over at a desktop calendar, she decided to flip through it. She didn't get very far though, since Thursday had something written on it. "Jaymie's birthday!!!" Her mouth gaped open for a second. She stood up and hurried out of the lab to find Rex and Six. They needed to plan a party for her. Jaymie was a child growing up in a non-traditional way. Holiday took it upon herself to make it as normal as possible. Even if that meant giving up paperwork to make a party.

"Mommmmy!" They hid just in time look who came storming in

Holiday turned to look at the child. "Jaymie! What a surprise."

" mommy! Pony , Green Bean and me went on an adventure and found a rainbow!"

[hollyoncall]

She gave the little girl an astonished look. "A rainbow? That's amazing." She gave Jaymie a smile.

"It was beautiful! But after pony and green bean were tired so they are napping. And I'm all alone and bored!"

[hollyoncall]

"I'm guessing you couldn't find Rex." It's common knowledge that Jaymie doesn't like the lab.

" Nope. Rexy wasn't to be found and neither was Daddy. Maybe they are out on a mission? So I came to see you mommy. Just please don't poke me with any needles."

[hollyoncall]

Holiday chuckled. "I won't poke you with needles." She paused to think for a moment. "Maybe they are on a mission. Would you like me to help you look for them?"

" will you? I looked everywhere" and by everywhere she means their rooms and the upper living floor that's it. This place is big alright?

[hollyoncall]

"Of course I will." She stood up and offered her hand to the child. "We can go ask if they're on a mission first." She was really hoping that Six and Rex would be able to handling party planning without her. Without too many mishaps and mistakes.

"Alright let's go ask!" They guys will be fine, you know them. Oh wait that's why you're worrying.

The good doctor lead Jaymie out of the lab. "We'll stop by the control room first and see."

"Okay!" Come on mommy lets walk faster. She wants to see of they are on a mission!

"Alright. Just don't get too far ahead. You might get lost." She moved a bit faster to keep up with the soon to be 6 year old.

" I know the way!.....er uh....we take a left up here right?"

[hollyoncall]

Holiday nodded her head. "Correct."

Yay , see no need to worry about her getting lost. She continued her fast paced walk towards the control center.
