Holiday was working at on some files left on her desk. Paperwork was part of a doctor's job after all. It was a long grueling task that no one really enjoyed, but someone had to get it done. She glanced over at the clock. 10. She still had plenty of time before lunch. The good doctor didn't like to procrastinate, but for once, she did. Glancing over at a desktop calendar, she decided to flip through it. She didn't get very far though, since Thursday had something written on it. "Jaymie's birthday!!!" Her mouth gaped open for a second. She stood up and hurried out of the lab to find Rex and Six. They needed to plan a party for her. Jaymie was a child growing up in a non-traditional way. Holiday took it upon herself to make it as normal as possible. Even if that meant giving up paperwork to make a party.

Although she was a bit hurt, she understood. "Hopefully Six won't mind." She did enjoy Six's cooking. Why not take this chance to have it?

"What won't I mind?" Speaking of the ninja. He had just entered the room, only to learn he was volunteered for something new. First balloon animals and now...?

"Cooking for Jaymie's party." Holiday looked at him with a look that said "you're gonna do it, like it or not." She glanced back at the list. "We were discussing what to have."

He could do that. "Alright."

"I said we should serve something simple like chicken tenders."

Six nodded his head. "Maybe mini pizzas? Her favorite food?" He wanted it to be a clean as possible.

"Cake and ice cream are a must." She doesn't know much about children's parties, but cake and ice cream.

"She loves grilled cheese and French fries..." Rex had feed her lunch enough times to know a few of her favorites.

"I can easily make those." It's some menus, but hey, 6 year olds are weird eaters aren't they?

"Okay that's good. What else should we have, what should we do?"

It's been so long since I planned a party.

Holiday finished scribbling down the menu on the paper. "Party games." She held out the paper to Six.

Six took the paper and frowned. He doesn't do games. "Sounds like Rex's territory."

Holiday started writing down the ideas on another sheet of paper. "What type of games does Jaymie like?" Pretend games was obvious.

At least there's no Mac and cheese on the mat

"She's energetic obviously. So maybe something so they all can run around? Also coloring and hide and seek and treasure hunts"

I couldn't stay up past 10 when I was her age.

"We can have them play freeze tag or musical chairs. Duck duck goose, maybe?" She was throwing out whatever game she could think of.

"It'll be good for teaching her stealth. Standing solid in one spot for a bit." Six, the most fun guy you will ever meet.

Six gave Rex a look. The sarcasm was heard loud and clear.

"So what other games should we plan for them?"

"I think the rest they can come up with for themselves." They are imaginative 5 and 6 year olds.

"Alright that sounds fine. So we have food and actives planned. We got invites made. What else? Decorations?"
